Buddha’s teaching very often comes to us in form of short, memorable sentences: wise words said by a wise man. We can’t be 100% sure that every sentence you’ll read has been said by Siddhārtha Gautama but trust me, they are worth a reading.
There is no doubt that the right words, said at the right time, have the power to soothe and heal our broken soul. They may offer a different perspective, teaching us patience or love or forgiveness. Life and happiness have been discussed since ever by philosophers, thinkers, and scientists are we’re still far away from any straight answers.
The following Buddha quotes don’t offer simple solutions, rather challenge us to question ourselves!

“No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.”

“You will not be punished for your anger; you will be punished by your anger.”

“Even death is not to be feared by one who has lived wisely.”
“Hate is never conquered by hate; hate is only conquered by love.”
Meditation is a practice that doesn’t require anything. Take some time, a quiet place, your attention and intent… and you’re good to go.
